NIELIT Delhi has announce about the Recruitment of 495 Posts of Scientist-‘B’ & Scientific/ Technical Assistant – ‘A’. There Are many Candidates Who Filled their Online Application Form for these Posts. Online Application Submission Process is Commenced from the Date 26th February, 2020 & Commenced Till the Date 26th March, 2020. Candidates are applying for the NIELIT Various Post. Soon the exam will be conducted. So All the Candidates is worried about there exam because in today’s time it is not easy to clear a exam. So here we are solving that problem. Here we are going to share the exam pattern and Syllabus. Candidates can study that syllabus and easily clear that exam.

Selection Process:

Scientist ‘B’

  • Written Examination and
  • Document Verification & Interview

Scientific/ Technical Assistant – ‘A’ –

Written Exam

Exam Pattern: Exam Pattern Will be as Follows:

  • The Exam Will be Objective type and OMR Based.
  • Written Examination shall be of 3 hours duration
  • Exam Will be conducted in English medium only.
  • The question paper for the written examination will consists of 65% questions from Technical Area and 35% from Generic Area.
  • There shall be a total of 120 objective type Questions consisting of 78 questions from Technical Area (Computer Science) and 42 question on Generic area.
  • The Generic Area will comprise of Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning Capabilities, Quantitative and Qualitative abilities and General Aptitude.
  • Every question will carry 1(one) mark and there will be negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
  • The minimum percentage to qualify the written examination will be 50% for General/ EWS, 40% for OBC, 30% for the SC/ ST/ PWD categories.

Exam Syllabus – Exam Syllabus Will be as Follows:

Scientist ‘B’

Section A : Generic 35% –

Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning Capabilities, Quantitative and Qualitative abilities and General Aptitude.

Section B : Technical (Computer Science) 65% –

Probability, Statistics and Combinatorics, Digital Logic, Computer Organization and Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Analog and Digital Communication, Programming and Data Structures, Algorithms, Compiler Design, Operating System, Databases, Information Systems and Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Web Technologies, Cyber Security and Emerging Technologies, Cloud Technology.

Scientific/ Technical Assistant – ‘A’

Section A : Generic 35% –

Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning Capabilities, Quantitative and Qualitative abilities and General Aptitude.

Section B : Technical (Computer Science) 65% –

Probability and Statistics, Digital Computer Principles, Computer Organization and Architecture, Programming and Data Structures, Object Oriented Programming, Algorithms, Databases, System Software, Information Systems and Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Web Technologies

Detailed NIELIT Syllabus pdf

The weight-age of marks for written examination and interview will be in the ratio 85:15. It is mandatory to appear in the interview for selection. The final selection of eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Scientific/ Technical Assistant – ‘A’ will be based on the merit position arrived from the performance of the candidates in the written examination, reservation policy and verification of documents submitted by the candidates.

VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS:

Verification of requisite documents will be done at the time of the interview for the post of Scientist- ‘B’. Candidate will be interviewed only after verification of original documents to ascertain their eligibility for the post. For Scientific/Technical Assistant – ‘A’, Verification of documents will be done before joining. Only short- listed candidates will be called for document verification. Mere fulfilling of requirement as laid down in the advertisement does not qualify a candidate to be called for personal interaction/interview.

INTERVIEW:

Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated about the date and venue by through SMS/e-mail communications to the registered email ID/Mobile phone by NIELIT.
