Exam Pattern : The Exam Pattern is as follows:
- The Exam will be Written Objective Type.
- There are total 100 Marks with 100 Question in the Exam.
- Question Paper Will have 04 Topics (100 Marks) as Follows:
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 50 Marks
- Numerical Ability – 20 Marks
- Mental Ability – 15 Marks
- General English – 15 Marks
- Each Question Will be of 01 Marks.
- The Time Duration for the Examination Will be 75 Minutes.
- There will be Negative marking of 0.25 Marks for each Wrong Answer.
- The Question Paper Will be Bilingual Malayalam & English.
Exam Syllabus : The Exam Syllabus is as follows:
General Knowledge & Current Affairs-
Current events, History, Culture, Geography, Economics, Indian Constitution, Environmental Studies, Health and hygiene, Basics of Hindi Language,Hindi Grammar, Child welfare, Women welfare, Social welfare, Disaster Management, Sports, Literature, Science.
Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart etc.
Questions will be from topics- Logical Diagrams, Symbol-Relationship Interpretation, Codification, Perception Test, Word formation Test, Letter and number series, Word and alphabet Analogy, Common Sense Test, Letter and number coding, Direction sense Test, Logical interpretation of data, Forcefulness of argument, Determining implied meanings.
Tenses / Sequences of Tenses, Voice: Active & Passive, Narration: Direct and Indirect, Transformation of Sentences: Assertive to Negative, Interrogative, Exclamatory and vice-versa, Use of Articles, Determiners and Prepositions, Translation of Simple (Ordinary/ Common) Sentences from Hindi to English and Vice-Versa, Correction of sentences including subject, verb, Agreement, Degrees of Adjectives, Connectives and words wrongly used, Synonyms and Antonyms, One word substitutions, Prefixes and Suffixes, Confusable Words, Comprehension of a given Passage and Knowledge of Official/Demi official Letters, Circular, Notices and Tenders.
- The Written Exam Will be of 10 Marks.
- The Minimum Marks for Being Included in the Rank list Will be 35% in Interview.
