About University :-
The foundation of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University(originally known as Agra University) was laid on the 1st of July, 1927, as a result of hectic efforts of a band of enthusiastic educationists like Rev. Canon A.W. Davis, Shri Munshi Narain Prasad Asthana, Dr.L.P. Mathur, ShriLala Dewan Chand, ShriRai Bahadur Anand Swaroop and Dr.Brajendra Swaroop. Original jurisdiction of University extended over United Provinces of Agra, Central Indiaand Rajputana with 14 affiliated colleges and 2530 students of which, 1475 students belonged to United Provinces. Initially, there were only four faculties in the University viz.Arts, Sciences, Commerce and Law. Faculties of Medicine (1936), Agriculture (1938),Home Science (1980), Basic Sciences (1981), Fine Arts (1982) and Management (1994)were added subsequently.
Agra University (Tentative) Entrance Examination Schedule 2020
On-line applications were invited for admission to Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate courses being run in the Residential Wing/ Affiliated Colleges of the University. Eligibility criterion for admission is specified in the Brochure and on the University.
About Admit Card :-
All the candidates who successfully enrolled themselves in admission process 2020 are waiting for the entrance exam admit card. University will declare entrance exam admit card. University will mention the venue and exam date of entrance examination in the admit card. Candidates can download their admit card by using their login id and password.
Important Instructions For Candidates
1 Admission shall be cancelled if the candidate is not found eligible even if he/she has appeared in the entrance test and declared successful or admitted.
2 Reservation rule for admission in all courses shall be applicable as per Government rules.
3 There will not be any negative marking.
4 Each candidate should bring BLACK or BLUE BALL POINT PEN with him/her. Use of Pencil is strictly prohibited.
5 Notification pertaining to the list of candidates called for the written test will be available on the website of the University. Admission Card will be available to such candidates only through the website.
6 A Seat with roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidate must occupy their allotted seat 20 minutes before the time specified for the commencement of the test. Candidates shall not be permitted to appear in the test if they come fifteen minutes after the commencement of the test.
7 Candidate shall not be allowed to bring any textual material, printed or written, Pager/Mobile Phone/Calculator or any other electronic gadgets etc. inside the examination hall. Any candidate found with such items shall be debarred from the examination.
8 No candidate shall be allowed to go out from the examination room until the examination time is completed. Candidates should not leave the examination hall without handing over their test booklets and OMR sheet to the invigilator on duty.
